Tucked within the heart of Wah Tea Estate, The Tea Room is a top-covered open space that looks out across endless rows of emerald tea bushes, rolling down toward the snow-dusted Dhauladhar mountains. The view lingers as you sip a fragrant cup of freshly brewed Kangra tea — every scene feels like a living painting.
The Tea Room is not just about tea; it’s an ode to the region’s flavours and traditions. The menu brings together local Himachali favorites and contemporary dishes, each prepared with care and seasonal ingredients. From dishes featuring produce from our organic garden to true Himachali specialities, every plate reflects the freshness of the hills. Visitors can indulge in delicate tea-infused desserts, dishes inspired by Pahadi kitchens, or comforting soups, pastas, burgers and sandwiches made with produce grown just steps away.
Whether you join us for a leisurely lunch, a tasting session, or simply a moment of stillness with your favourite brew, The Tea Room offers a soulful connection to the land — where every sip, every bite, and every view tells the story of Kangra’s timeless charm.

Kangri Dham — A Signature Meal Experience
Kangri Dham is a traditional celebratory meal from Himachal Pradesh, deeply rooted in the culture of the Kangra Valley. Once prepared for royal feasts and temple offerings, it’s now enjoyed at weddings, festivals, and milestone gatherings.
Cooked by Boti Brahmins over a slow woodfire in brass or earthen pots, every dish in a Dham is a reflection of devotion, patience, and community. The meal is made without onion and garlic, served with rice, rotis, rich dals and yoghurt-based gravies.
At Wah Tea Estate, we recreate this timeless culinary experience using local ingredients and traditional methods. Our Kangri Dham thali also has the option of adding Padahi style chicken — offering a true taste of the hills on one plate.
